Soane’s Scented Still Lives

In collaboration with photographer Rosalind Atkinson, AVM Curiosities have reinvented a series of Georgian recipes that celebrate the 18th century art of hosting. Taking inspiration from Sir John Soane’s purchase ledgers and journals, the photographic and aromatic exhibit showcases Soane’s gastronomic experience. The sumptuous photography is accompanied by a trio of scent chambers, which enable visitors to have an olfactory as well as visual experience of the dishes on display. For a limited time only an accompanying series of recipe cards will also be available in the Soane Shop.
